The evaporative cooling pad cooling system with exhaust fan (negative pressure fan) is more and more welcomed by the majority of users because of its low input cost and ultra-low operation cost.The exhaust fan (negative pressure fan) and cooling system not need too much maintenance work. It is an excellent workshop cooling equipment.However, in order to ensure the longer service life and better effect of the cooling system, some maintenance work still is neceaasry.Here are the seven items we should pay attention to in the maintenance of the evaporative cooling pads :
1. Water quantity control
The ideal condition of water quantity control is that the water quantity can wet the cooling pad evenly, have a small flow of water flowing down slowly along the cooling pad pattern.It is recommended to install a regulating valve at the inlet pipe, so that the water volume can be directly controlled.
2. Water quality control
The water used for the cooling pad generally is tap water or deep well water.Need to regularly cleaning of the water tank and water circulating system (usually once a week) to maintain the good quality of water supply.If is deep well water, recommended to install a filter to filtrate the sediment and other impurities in the water.
3. Water leakage treatment
When water spills out or overflows the cooling pad, firstly check whether the water supply is too large, and secondly , check whether there are damaged cooling pads ,or damaged at the edge of pad, etc.Water leakge handling methods of the joints: apply structural adhesive after stopping water supply.
4. Uneven drying and wetting of cooling pad
Adjust the water supply valve to control the water quantity or replace the high-power water pump and large-diameter water supply pipe.Wash the water tank, water pump inlet, filter, spray water supply pipe, etc. in time to clean up the dirt in the water supply circulating system.
5. Daily maintenance
Shut down the fan 30 minutes after the water pump stopped of the cooling pads to ensure that the cooling pad is completely dried once a day.After the system stops running, check whether the accumulated water in the water tank is drained to prevent the bottom of the cooling pad from being immersed in water for a long time.
6. Cooling pads cleaning
Removal of scale and algae on the surface of the cooling pad: after completely drying the cooling pad, gently brush up and down with a soft brush to avoid horizontal brushing.(brush part of the wet curtain first to check whether the cooling pad can withstand brushing) then only start the water supply system to wash the scale and algae on the surface of the cooling pad.(avoid washing the cooling pad with steam or high-pressure water, unless it is a high-strength cooling pad pad with single-sided or double-sided adhesive.)
7. Rodent control
In the season when the cooling pad is not used, the rodent-proof net can be installed or the rodenticide can be sprayed on the lower part of the cooling pad.
